Heritage Spanish Program (Hispanohablantes)
Egg Harbor Township School District offers Spanish classes for heritage and native Spanish speakers (Español para Hispanohablantes). The curriculum in each level focuses on developing students' literacy skills in Spanish.
Elementary/Middle School Courses Offered:
5th, 6th, 7th, 8th Hispanohablantes
High School Courses Offered:
CP/HN Hispanohablantes 1
CP/HN Hispanohablantes 2
CP/HN Hispanohablantes 3
AP Spanish Literature
Students in the AP Spanish Literature course take two AP exams, both AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature. Students who score a 3 or higher on each exam earn 3 college credits, for a total of 6 credits. Students in the AP Spanish Literature course also take the AAPPL proficiency test are are able to graduate with the Seal of Biliteracy if they score Intermediate-Mid or better on all sections of the AAPPL.
