Program Description:
Egg Harbor Township School District offers Spanish classes for heritage and native Spanish speakers (Español para Hispanohablantes). The focus of the curriculum in each grade level is on developing students' literacy skills in Spanish. Students who already speak Spanish develop their interpretive reading and presentational writing proficiency in Spanish through through reading short stories, fables, poems, and novels. The books pictured below are some of the texts used in the Hispanohablantes classes to develop students' literacy skills.

*College Credits:
Students in HN Hispanohablantes 3 can earn 4 college credits from Stockton University.
Students in AP Spanish Literature can earn up to 6 college credits from their AP tests in May.
Seal of Biliteracy:
Seniors in Hispanohablantes classes can earn the Seal of Biliteracy if they demonstrate Intermediate-Mid or better proficiency on all sections of the proficiency assessment.
Students in HN Hispanohablantes 3 can earn 4 college credits from Stockton University.
Students in AP Spanish Literature can earn up to 6 college credits from their AP tests in May.
